ART BANNER MAKING: CHINESE CALLIGRAPHY & CROCHET

WHAT WE ARE DOING /

Share your memories and hopes for Edmonton's Harbin Gate by expressing your thoughts on an art calligraphy banner, which are inspired by the form of the Chinese couplet. Write your wishes, share stories, draw pictures, or attach a photograph of you and the gate.

Calligraphy and crochet facilitators will guide you to make your own art banner.

Your banner will be installed collectively with dozens of other banners.

This community art installation will serve as a visual mark of our  memories and hopes for the Harbin Gate.

...........................

Want to make your calligraphy banner ahead of time? Go to our 'Template' page.
